The Glorious Marigold

As this is my first picture here, I decided the glorious marigold would be the perfect entry. We introduced this beautiful flower to our garden this spring after growing them from seeds found on stray plants in the street last year. 

It has not stopped flowering profusely since then and looks to continue for some time yet this year.  

With working from home full time and UK lockdown restrictions,  this has often been my salvation. It’s depth of colour and stunning profile is perfect for me as a lover of nature and macro photography.
