High tide

We had to wait in this morning for the man from the kitchen design showroom who was going to price the couple of little changes we wanted to make to our kitchen - he was late! But he eventually arrived, took notes on what we wanted and off he went again - he phoned back in the afternoon with prices, so all we have to do now is wait for a date to get the work done, likely to be January now, which is fine, we're not in any rush.
After he left we decided we would head to Ballywalter for a walk on the beach - well that was ok, except for the fact that the tide was in, and decidedly higher than we expected! We stopped instead at Millisle and walked around the shore there, managing to avoid getting our feet wet. The waves were crashing against the sea wall and running over, it was quite mild but blustery, a pleasant time for a walk.
