Busy bees

The first sign that one of the bee hives had made it through the winter - so far. Not sure there was much for them to feed on but the warm sun brought the bees in hive #1 to life. Must have spent a couple of hours stretching their wings.

Hive #2 might also have been on the wing but hive #3 definitely wasn't. Hope they're still alive in there.
