Service at Lincoln Minster

From items pasted into one of Lorna's family annuals we know the reason for the visit to Lincoln in 1932: to attend the service noted on this programme for Sunday 9th October.

In a handwritten note sent to Lorna's father five days earlier on 4th October, the Organist and Master of the Choristers Gordon Archbold Slater* confirms that the family's special request that a particular hymn be included at the service has been granted. The hymn is Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence (Picardy).**
