Don't Jump!!

The day started off with pancakes.  The girls sat at the kitchen bench and ate them.  We also played a game of eye-spy, whilst they were eating.  Well, Isabella did.  Mia put in a word every now and again.  And got a few right!!  Pure guesses.

We have quite a long time before we go to dancing.  But the girls sat and did some drawings.  Isabella chose to do some writing, to show Mia how to do it.

It was 32c by 9am, and we were allowed to go and wait inside today, at the centre.  Not that it was very cool.  They'd had a power cut!  But it was still better than standing outside.

Mind you whilst the girls were dancing, we had to go and sit in the courtyard.  But it wasn't too bad.

It was too hot to go to the playground so we came home.  And into the pool.  We used to have a big swimming pool at our previous house.  And on days like today I really miss it.

But the girls had a good time.  And I managed to get them out, dried and dressed before their Mum came to pick them up.

We had a storm this afternoon.  It didn't last long, but we had some rain.
And the temperature dropped to 25c!!
