A Very Busy Rainy Day

More meetings for the botanical garden today - talking in great depth about some potential land here in Portland. There's a lot of agencies involved because it's a superfund site, so lots and lots to talk about. It's a magical property because of its location, but there are a lot of hurdles. We'll see how it all comes together, if indeed it does. Site visit tomorrow with the local EPA which will be very interesting (especially in the rain!).

Today's blip is yet another emergency blip. All of a sudden it was dark out and having pulled off a pretty good outdoors emergency blip the other night, I didn't know where else to turn to. Well I have a houseful of plants that used to be outdoors....this begonia I've blipped before, far more successfully. But I'm glad that I looked at it, because it turns out it had quite an aphid farm going on....so half of it now in the trash and it's in the kitchen sink after a good spraying. Tomorrow I'll find the Safer's Insecticidal Soap and douse it.  Good grief.
