Branching out

Now that the double glazing is installed noises from the street are quieter. That and my hearing is no longer as good.

However this morning I was aware of noise outside and saw the neighbours we having work done on one of 3 tall trees.

The work lasted most of the day and by mid afternoon the central tree had gone, all carefully brought down and cut up/shredded.

For a lot of the day I was travelling. The car had a small service and as the garage is to the west of the airport and a “waiting” slot was not available I had to leave it and return later afternoon. Fortunately a good bus service operates and all went well. Only one couple not wearing face coverings but lots of space and seats to keep apart.
