Going, going, gone. Although we are advised not to travel outside Tier 3 and to stay within the county I could find nothing on the Government website so today we drove just over seven miles for a short brisk walk to get some sea air. The tide was high and covering part of the footpath between Cockenzie and Port Seton and yesterday it must have been impressive with a higher tide and rough sea. This little boat was lying half sunk at Cockenzie harbour and was completely under the water on our return. Meanwhile I saw a seal swimming around the fishing boats in Port Seton harbour just before the sun gave way to rain.
