Fading Light

Today, one of my oldest friends and I completed the final leg of the Fife Pilgrim Way.
We started in January and thought we would be finished by Easter.
Then a global pandemic struck, and Lockdown.
The logistics of completion whilst sticking to the rules have been tricky, but just before 4pm today, we walked into St Andrews and enjoyed some socially distance prosecco.
My friend had to catch a bus afterwards so I tooka walk down to the beach.
There were far too many people around so I found a wee quiet spot to wait until hubby could collect me.
