Just a Tree

It was discombobulated most of the day. Lockdown kinda got to me. Many of the things I enjoy doing usually include: nature, peace and lack of cars. Living in the city doesn't come easily to me. I dream of living on the west coast, close to a village (with a bakery) a beach and a wee dog. Instead, I went out with my camera. 

I was out before sunrise and thought I'd get to Arthur's Seat before too many others. But I failed. There were lots of people about and the carpark was already full! I cycled up the hill, a hard task on my Brompton, pottered about looking for something worth taking a picture of and didn't really succeed. This was the best of my efforts. 

I had a day off for various reasons. Rosemary n I went for a swim in the late afternoon. Even the water didn't calm me down. At this time of year, it's really cold and my mind didn't want to deal with it. I wasn't happy in the water.

Fortunately, I cheered up later on.
