A Touch of Wind
We were up early this morning for our wetlands Bird Survey. It started of dull and drizzly but brightened up a bit. We were delighted to see a Goosander - a double treat as it was our first of the season, and a first for us for our Wetlands site. Another great sighting was a Treecreeper. (see extras).
Another treat when we got home was a visit from a Sparrowhawk. He stayed for at least 5 minutes atop the bird table, despite the gusty wind.
