Portmeirion

It all started when we celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary with a holiday at Portmeirion. We bought some plates from the factory shop they had there.
After that, whenever I visited Stoke-on-Trent I called in at the Portmeirion shop (in those days it was a small shop on a main road into Stoke).
I got on well with the Manageress and she used to put nice pieces on one side for me - so every time I called in I had to buy them.....and like Topsy it just grew & grew .......
