Homebase building, Brentford

This is an architecturally significant building, but is soon to be demolished to make way for a new housing development. It was built in 1987 with a column-free interior and this mast which supports a structural spine (apparently). I can't say I find it particularly attractive, but it is a distinctive local landmark on the Great West Road.
