What a difference a day makes

I opened my eyes this morning to see the room filled with an eerie, red glow.

I rushed to a window to check that the Fire Brigade was not needed, and with my sleep deprived brain in autoBlip mode, I found a camera and recorded this scene.

The sunrise was incredible.

Shortly thereafter we had a power cut for a few minutes - related? Shepherd's warning?
