Darkness at noon and reprieve at dusk
A front moves through,
The world lost in earthbound cloud.
A gentle rain softens fallen leaves
And puddles up to mirror low-ceilinged sky. .
Inside the house more like a cave
We watch as enclosing day passes by
Like a slow steaming ship
Far away on it’s horizon line.
Much later after biscuits, a wee nap, tea, soup, fire and listening to Kevin Barry reading The Ox Mountains Death Song https://vimeo.com/69466743 and rewatching a few favourite Seinfeld bloopers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFpKs4FEITo&feature=share and chatting with Peg the rain stopped and the cloud and fog began to lift. I took a brief stroll up the hill and took some photos. The cave kitchen is in extras with one other.
