Man at Work!

Took a walk along the path behind the house this afternoon in glorious sunshine and very little wind. We came across this man working on the street lights that they are currently installing.

I guess he is playing his part in a work that will bring light to dark places, although its quite likely he will never walk here and see the benefit he actually brings.

I wonder how many lives we bring light to, but actually never know about. We've probably all had the experience where someone says "do you remember when you said ..." and if we are honest we usually cannot remember the details, but despite us not remembering we did have a positive impact.
