New Plymouth Coastal Walkway

We biked along this track today. The tide was in and the sea a bit rough so we got a few splashes along the way. This photo is looking towards the Port. The rock formation is Paritutu which is the remnants of an ancient volcano crater. There are seven Sugar Loaf islands nearby also remnants of the volcano crater.
The extra was taken last night of Mt Taranaki with a bit of sunset light on it.
