Last minute blip of desperation... 9 and 1+8=9 so 99. It's an old analogue clock-radio. I've had it years, but when we moved to Hampshire the FM reception was so bad it was almost unusable, so I bought a DAB radio which was much better - but now there is no DAB /DAB+ service in France that's not much use either! There is an FM signal here though...

We did get a letter from the council though today - our planning permission has been granted, we can start to spend lots of money in the new year to knock down the old extension and build a new one....!
