Cold Feet

This poor little duck was trying to walk on the soil at the edge of the water rather than the ice that had formed there. She did manage to get through in the end and found her way to the little boy that had just turned up to feed all her friends. This was taken at the lake a few miles away, I thought I would take advantage of the lovely weather, while it lasts. Had a nice stroll along the edges of the lake and took lots of photos and there were so many I liked that it was hard to choose which one to blip. I chose this one in the end because I liked the duck's expression and also the way the green shoots are showing through the ice :-)
