More Hall Reservoir, Ewden Valley

I only took a few phone photos today as I walked with Jan in the Ewden Valley.   I’d expected us to get soaked as the day started out very wet but as I drove up towards Bolsterstone the sky lit-up and there would have been some very good landscape images to be had up there for anyone who was ready with a camera.

We attempted to walk both reservoirs but the upper one, Broomhead, had a very muddy and in places treacherous path.  I had carried my walking stick, which I think Jan found helpful, but we decided it would be safer to retreat back to our cars.
