A bit of a mouthful...

... for this squirrel. 

We were on our latest visit to Harlow Carr Gardens; for all RHS gardens at present, you have to book in advance, so it would have been a shame to waste it, despite the very heavy rain as we arrived.

This squirrel dropped to the ground just in front of me and momentarily froze. Good job the camera was ready because I only got the chance to take this one shot.

Whenever the sun came out, there were some lovely displays of autumn colour (see the extra).
