windswept blue tit

A rather wet and blustery morning is now being followed by a very sunny afternoon!  Made myself comfy in the shed first thing to do some bird spotting - you can always rely on the blue tits to stop by despite the mad weather!

And this afternoon I've been constructing a new bird feeder - one of the pole ones with 4 feeders. It didn't feel very secure when I put it in, but it's still standing so far and has had a few visitors so think I just need to keep an eye on it and hope it starts attracting more birds back into the garden as it's been a lot quieter over the past few weeks  - maybe they've all flown off to sunnier spots... lucky things!!
