Long life
Their official name is antirrhinum, but we always called them snapdragons. If you squeeze the flower it looks like a dragon’s mouth opening and shutting. So those who have seen a dragon say.
I think we last grew them in the garden about five years ago, and this year they have suddenly popped up again. The seeds must have been sitting there in the ground waiting patiently for the right season.
