Waddesdon Lights

Part of the reason we came back from Northumberland a few days before school starts was so that we could go and see the lights at Waddesdon. It’s become a bit of a New Year tradition.
It didn’t disappoint!
We met my mum by the house and had a magical couple of hours walking around the light trail and down to the stables.
I popped into the Christmas shop and bought myself a couple of gorgeous gold robin decorations. Just in time to put them away tomorrow! They’ll make me happy when I get them out next Christmas.
We were pretty much last to leave as usual and walked down to the car park rather than getting the shuttle bus. It was pitch dark but the trail was lit with lanterns and that was magical too.
