Saying goodbye

... to the beach... for now.
Everything ready to pack in the car, the dogs and I took our morning ‘walk’ to retrieve Bumblebee. Making our way back to the house was slightly entertaining due to a parked car, a nervous driver and two locals that took it upon themselves to become the expert guides to direct all traffic!!
Regardless ... I found a gap and we quickly threw everything in the car and only held one car up behide us for two mins.
Out of the house and not ready to go home, we headed along to Sandsend for breakfast.
Originally I thought I didn’t want to take the clean dogs on the beach in the hopes that I could return them home clean. But I couldn’t think of where we could go on the way home for them to get a good run and not be muddy (being that it appears to have just rained everywhere this week - that is everywhere but here! :). So, we went for a walk along the beach but just stayed away from the sea. When the raindrops started we figured that was our cue to go. It felt like a long drive home. And it feels very strange and quiet without Jodie and Toby.
It was a good break. :)
