Back out!

This morning I had my first run in a good couple of months and the first since having a steroid injection in my hip a couple of weeks ago. Just a wee one (4k) to test things out, a bit niggly but it's a start, slowly slowly I think.

I spent most of the day researching and ordering more materials (now up to 11 hamper orders on top of the others). Also rather excitingly, a friend has asked me to create 3 tea-inspired candles that she would like me to create/make for her to sell in her shop and through her boutique catering business. She wants me to make them in vintage tea cups and I already have some great ideas for fragrance blends. Just need to cost them out and make some samples now.

In other news a massive box arrived this morning full of bulbs. A few weeks ago I was offered some samples from a Dutch bulb company so of course I said yes, expecting a few to try. What I've been sent is actually hundreds and hundreds of bulbs in a number of varieties some are absolutely stunning and I've never seen anything them before. I'm not sure how big they think my garden is but let's just say, once I've planted up every single one of our many pots there will be plenty left over for sharing!
