Colour on a mainly dull day

A dull day but stayed dry until late afternoon.

Up early this morning so walked to the shop to get a few things before they got busy.  Spoke with my friend, had breakfast and then went for a walk.  Tried to find something with some colour, not many flowers about but liked this wall.  Met the farmer and he told me that the old shelter where they used to have pigs has now been cleared out and he had some heifers in there, extra blip and then I couldn't resist this rain wet grass:)
Came home, had lunch (homemade soup) and then went for another walk to the church, pulled a few weeds out whilst there! Now going to enjoy Strictly.  Still no news on great grandchild but she is in early stages of labour, hope it all goes well.
