The rain threatened but the sun was out too. Drove down to Rampside and then walked down 'the old line'  . The railway line has long gone but it's a nice walk along the coast and there are some lovely views across Morecambe Bay , over Walney and north over to the lake District Hills. 
It did start to drizzle as we set off but we carried on and the sun came out.
We usually stick to the tarmac path but we decided to go straight on over the fields to a little wood. As we reached the wood it was extremely boggy and looking into the trees it was completely  waterlogged, so we aimed back over to the path. A bit too hazy to see the hills  but still a nice walk.
