A Mothers Memories

I woke up this morning to see my mother freshly showered and looking at the old photos of our family. I didn't disturb her & she didn't know I was in the vicinity of the lounge room. I think that's what makes this shot all the more candid & authentic.
On a technical front I'm trying to work on my exposure compensation skills as my indoor shots appear to be darker then I'd like (even though my LCD Display says it's 'balanced') but I'll get there I suppose. Any advice on this would be appreciated.
