Jacaranda with crane and light pole.

I couldn't let the jacaranda season pass without blipping a photo of one. Another native of South America, it is well established in Sydney and throughout NSW. Being a November bloomer, many of us think of it as the exam tree. I spent many years either doing or marking them when the flowers were out.

I took this one from an upstairs back window. The crane is on top of a massive block of units under construction.
