A mixed up day!

Today started off strangely with a visit to the dentist, followed by a few odd jobs and no blip before darkness had descended.

I've had a few minor problems with a tooth which was root canalled a few years back and so started off at the dentist.  Having no nerves, the tooth can be drilled without anaesthetic, a surreal experience as only the pain is absent - all of the noises ans smells remain.  To make things worse, the dentist and his assistant both look like cybermen and their particle filter masks make communication difficult!

For light relief I took the flush valve apart in one of the bathrooms, fixed a leak and then spent a happy afternoon resetting the 'plug lifter' in the sink - oh joy!

Things drastically improved as Friday is Fish & Chips day, and, Gill made crumble with custard :-) 

I'm now trying to make a simple map of our trip around New Zealand for a camera club Zoom session next week .... it's not going well!
