Waiting

Today we took Murray to the vet for stage 2 of dental treatment.  I tried to distract myself with shopping, successfully and reading at home, less so.  Blipped this path before but liked the contrasts.
Murray used to like going to the vet.  Now he's not keen, poor boy. He's had four teeth out and has stitches. 
Its always a relief for greyhound owners to know their hound has survived anaesthetic.  Having so little body fat means anaesthetic has to be finely tuned. Home now, eaten mashed food and sleeping.  The vet recommended white rice of which I discovered my cupboard was out of stock. So he had arborio risotto rice instead. 
And Dom has left the building. What will it all mean?
