Post-Occultation (back blip for yesterday)
This is a photo of the Moon and Jupiter; the Moon is large, but Jupiter is far away.
I took this last night, less than a day after the Moon passed in front of Jupiter, which isn't going to happen again until 2016. I didn't take a photo of the occultation itself, as (a) it would have been a picture of just the Moon and (b) according to the timings I found, I was on the wrong side of the planet.
While the Moon appears full, it's actually just past its first quarter; the phone's camera just can't show this.
