Whinge, complain...

This is what I have to deal with when trying to birdwatch in Tam Dao. Grey skies, 30 metre tall trees and darkness. This is just my front yard too! I'm not even standing in the thick of rainforest. All around me I can hear birds tweeting, chattering, chirruping and squawking. I can see some of them too..

But they mostly no bigger than the palm of my hand and just merely seeing them is difficult enough let alone identifying them as well. So I'm having a whinge instead!

But I can guarantee there are at least half a dozen birds in this shot, somewhere amongst the leaves and foliage...
