Sheep in the field
It was no more but a short spell of sunshine that shined on the woolen coats of those sheep, while they layed there munching and I pictured them; really after I'd released the shutter the sun was gone again. Very mild temps for Mid November and not all leaves have been blown off the tree branches yet.
A lady friend from our teenage years here in Holland, visited me today and as she's a walker too, we went for a walk and then we found these sheep.
From the long and twisted horns they have I tried to find their name on internet and now I wonder if they are Hungarian Racka-sheep, or not.
The news on the radio reported today that the counting in Arizona is finished and Joe Biden the winner of election there; plus mentioned that the Chinese authorities congratulated Biden with his victory of being President Elect of the USA. If only Trump could congratulate him as well!
In the newspaper I found an article today by Eelco Runia, a historian and psychologist... it says"
Losing has never been an option for Trump. Instead, he always took the flight ahead. But what shape does that take when you're already president?

Various explanations have been given so far for Donald Trump's obstinate refusal to admit that he lost the election: he has a fondness for scorched earth tactics, he wants to serve a strategic purpose (winning the two Senate seats in Georgia), for narcissists like him - certainly dull types like 'sleepy Joe' – losing is an intolerable ego offense, he's after authoritarian rule, or, in the words of Fox News host Tucker Carlson, an 'instinctive predator'.
Trump's long flight ahead has landed him in the presidency against all odds. Once in the Washington swamp, he spent four years digesting his prey like a crocodile, never retracing his steps. Trump has made no attempt to broaden his electoral base. And because he hardly had a program - and insofar as he had it, he was not motivated to implement as much of it as possible - he never had to count his knots like Obama did when he lost his majority in the Senate. Even in his battle with Joe Biden, Trump hasn't downshifted. He never attempted to win over the more moderate, he compulsively preached just to his own parish, believing that all he had to do was repeat the 2016 trick.
Now, after he lost the election, it is like he has his back to the wall again, but for the first time in his life there is no progress. Because you can't get any further in hierarchy than the presidency of the US. The only "ahead" that remains for him is in overthrowing the status quo, is destroying the constitution, is revolution.
Resentment
That is what successful forward-breakers in history did. Through and in their revolutions these revolutionaries created a new playing field, a playing field on which they could move forward for a while. The question is whether Trump is capable of something similar. It would appear that he is a rather flawed revolutionary, a revolutionary who only realizes that he is when it is already too late. So a myopic revolutionary: one who would rather wallow in his rancor than create the conditions in which he can continue to do so.
I think we are lucky that, although Trump is a great demagogue, he is a bad politician. A better politician would not have waited until after the election to create a crisis, but had planned that a week or more beforehand. A better politician would have pretended to care about his people. A better politician would not have bet on an election victory that never really took place. A better politician would not have given the impression that he only wants to change the playing field because he himself is in a tight spot. Trump, whether for trespassing or otherwise, seems to be leaving the White House, with nothing left to do but turn his urge to flee forward once more and then into a resentment of biblical proportions.
