minding the gaps
They were supposed to finish today, but it's not going to happen now. The fates have conspired against them. A delivery of blocks scheduled for Wednesday didn't arrive until Thursday, so they lost a day. And there were meant to be three working here, but one got a more lucrative offer elsewhere.
The two remaining lads are working incredibly hard - they start around 7.00am and don't really stop for lunch. A quick bite whilst sitting on a pile of blocks.

I'm impressed with the neat way in which they've dealt with the numerous drain and manhole covers. And the laborious task of brush fine sand into the gaps. See extras.
They're on a fixed price for the job so I guess a two-way split is better than three. They deserve it.
