Silverknowes Road

This small section of wall is made with bricks of a shape unlike any I've seen in this part of the world, they are much longer.  They are also redder than most bricks around here, with a sort of yellowish finish (glaze?  were they painted) on some of the flat surfaces.

It strikes me as incongruous every time I walk past.

I saw two quite bold foxes on my walk this evening.
