Belties

These gorgeous Belted Galloways seemed to be enjoying the sun. Spotted on a walk with a couple of friends (sorry, I know but it wouldn’t do to miss one of us out). It was my route, featuring a few ‘PFs’ - ploughed fields - my acronym on the map. But consensus was that the mud was less awful than the group walk we went on two weeks ago, featuring rutted RUPPs or BOATs as they are now known. We had a super picnic spot by a pond with a flock of sheep in the background. As we stood ready to leave, the ram introduced himself to us, he was surprisingly forward!
