We now have 28 cases and one class at school has been suspended, the comune offices closed and the mayor urging maximum civic precaution and possible extra measures. I guess we’ll not be venturing out for a bit.

Covid hospitalisations in Tuscany are 400 over the first wave peak at 1,872. Hospitals seem to be at capacity. Yet there still is a lack of urgency. They say the rate of increase is falling but it’s a fierce game to play.
