Lesson one

Percy pigeon took part in lesson one of "How to be a moorhen" today. Milly moorhen wasn't convinced he'd make the grade.

After a service at the crem I was able to grab five minutes with the camera at Taylor Park. All the wildlife seemed to be having a siesta. 

I had a lovely surprise this morning. A rather long box came through my letterbox, containing some flowers. There was a nice card with it but it didn't say who it was from. I rang the company but obviously they couldn't tell me. The kind gentleman did say he would email my thanks to the sender and let them know that I didn't know who had sent it. 

It really cheered me up this morning. Such a thoughtful gift. I do hope the person who sent them will get to know how much I really appreciate them and would like to say thankyou. It was so kind. The flowers are all in bud so I look forward to them coming to life in the next few days, when I am sure they will then appear on blip!
