On the trail of the Lonesome Pine

Out on the bike this morning to make the most of the sunshine. Despite a headwind up the first hills the views made it worthwhile and No Mist thank goodness.

Popped across to Dalby which was very quiet away from the main car park. As we walked along a track through some recent felling. This poor tree had a very abandoned look. We couldn’t see why it had been left behind.
