Spent a lovely couple of hours at Crummock Water this morning.  Walked down to the lake then through the lovely woods and on to the Buttermere road.  If it hadn't have been so windy I would have walked up Brackenthwaite Hows.  Afterwards went to Bassenthwaite to look at my favourite old oak tree.  I had to blip it as when I'm next there the leaves will have fallen.  Another postcard in extras from the Crummock walk.
