Wait, what!?

Hi everyone!

Being the TP (Teachers Pet) that I am, I decided to get a book about The European Union, which a sub-topic we're going to learn about in Geography. I went to the library as I always do on a Monday, as I'm a member of the book club (And have been since first year - I'm one of the original members!), and only found one book about it. When I got home after badminton club and started reading, I noticed something was wrong. Read the page now, and see if you can guess!!!




Ok, here's what's wrong! Last paragraph, second and third line. "There are now 15 member states of the EU"... "No there's not. There are 27 members of the EU" I thought to myself. When was this book published? I flicked to the front, and I seen the line Published in 1995
Yep. 1995. 18 years ago, more than 2 years before I was born. My sister, who is now 27 (I think), recently engaged AND with 2 children, was still in primary school. So yeah, long time ago is the point I'm trying to make, just in case it wasn't clear...

Anyway, that's the only significant thing that happened today.
