Any moss experts out there?

Is there anyone knowledgeable on mosses that can tell me what these white flowers-like bodies are?  For once Google has not helped me very much apart from telling me that mosses do not flower.  I am therefore assuming that these white bodies must be connected with spore production.  Can anyone confirm this or correct me please?
