Up on the roof

I spotted this builder right on the crest of a local department store this afternoon. It was..err, quite high. He had a mobile clamped to this ear and was having a lively chat - about how he likes his tea with six sugars and other brawny buildery matters no doubt - and then he suddenly seemed to stop and look right at me down the street. Yes, me, just a little black-coated ant way down below the cloud cover....well, err, alright, maybe it wasn't quite that high....
At the time I thought he must be able to see me taking his picture.....but I can't believe I was close enough for him to see my phone. Maybe he was just keeping a beady eye on me because he thought I looked like a shifty character, even from a distance....and he wouldn't have been the first person to come to that conclusion, let me tell you. Did you know, I was twice stopped by the police way back when I was a shaggy student in Canterbury, just because they thought I looked a bit shifty? No, three times! Jeez, I haven't thought about that in a while. I wouldn't have minded if I had actually done something nefarious, but I hadn't, honest guvnor! It's not a fair cop! I was just going about my completely legit studenty business....
...but now that I think about it, maybe the beard I sported back then was a a crime against fashion....
...errr, was I know? Oh yes, today has officially been no more than okay. So this is the only possible track for today....
....on the other hand, I did get a marriage proposal on Blipfoto today, and that's certainly a first :]
