My best friend

We were together in 7 and 8 grade , in Holland, and we bonded immediately, mainly because of our love of animals. Then her family moved to Switzerland and I continued the Odyssey of my parents. ( we moved 16 times over the time of my childhood and teenager years.) That did not make it easy to keep good friends.
But she and I also loved to write so we stayed in close contact by writing.

A life time has passed. We are both grandmothers now and live in different corners of the world. But we still like each other and contact from Holland to Oregon became easier by social media and WhatsApp .
