Three more Ollas

Three Ollas (oh-yas) in roughly the spots where I need to bury them. I'm too tired to measure and bury them today.

If you missed my original post, these terracotta pots are an ancient form of irrigation. Terracotta is porous. Each Olla is buried with a bit of neck above the soil.

Fill them with water or liquid fertiliser once or twice a week, pop the terracotta top on, and the plant roots take up what they need.

These are small Ollas for my new raised vege garden. The original raised vege garden behind it has medium sized olla pots.

Today's gratitude: For more good outcomes with a bit of shopping, chiropractor work on my skull and neck, and computer time. My concussion recovery is ticking along nicely.
