Nestling in the valley
I took this photo of the village from an unusual vantage point. It is exactly on the boundary of the permitted one kilometre limit from the house. There is even an application that traces a circle from your house to show you where you can walk. The village policeman has said he is not really interested in catching people on the mountain paths if they are a little outside the limit. It is rare to meet anyone else anyway. With difficulty, I crammed all the garden waste into the car and took it to the tip forgetting that it is a Bank holiday. It will all have to stay in the car overnight which will mean the car will smell like a compost heap for a few days! I then settled down to start painting a portrait that I sketched out yesterday.
