Curious

A fragment of a 'Police Line - Do Not Cross' tape hanging from a branch over the River Mersey, near Didsbury..
The tree is from the left hand side of the image. On that bank is another fragment, attached to a large loose branch. I couldn't see if the one shown had snagged on the branch or was tied.
I'm presuming it had blown there as I can't imagine what incident could of taken place for such a convoluted set up.
Intrigued me though.
