Armistice ......

The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month - - WE WILL REMEMBER THEM - -
It is 10.30 am but in 30 minutes time I will , like many more, will stand in silent prayer for 2 minutes. Never must these brave men and women who fought for our freedom ( and still many are ) be forgotten.
My blip also excludes another scarecrow with a short history of the Shirley Poppy . It seemed appropriate to add it here , the symbol of the Poppy means so much to us all.
Dry but chilly day with the sun coming through now and again , let us continue in the light and march on.
